OpenAI Unveils ChatGPT ‘Study Mode’ in India for Multilingual, Step-by-Step Learning

Date:  July 30, 2025 OpenAI launched a new ‘Study Mode’ in ChatGPT on July 29, designed especially for learners in India and beyond. Instead of simply providing answers, the feature now helps users understand topics through a guided, step-by-step learning process. Leah Belsky, OpenAI's VP of Education, explained that the feature transforms ChatGPT from a solution provider to a learning facilitator. This update supports 11 Indian languages and uses voice, images, and text, making the learning experience more inclusive and dynamic. Users can now interact with the AI in a format that suits them best, enhancing accessibility and personalization in education. Study Mode is already live for all logged-in users under Free, Plus, Pro, and Team plans. It will also be available soon for ChatGPT Edu users, expanding access within schools and colleges. While the live-service elements and microtransactions have drawn some criticism, Diablo IV delivers a satisfying, action-packed RPG experience for both newcomers and longtime fans.
